The acoustic measurements according to TSI NOI 2014/1204/EU were performed to determine pass-by noise, rail roughness and track decay rate. 
For the static strength test according to EN 12663, the mobile pressure frame was used, which is an in-house development by PJM. The vehicle frame is subjected to different loads in order to determine the distortions and stresses that occur. 
As accredited testing facility according to ISO/IEC 17025, PJM carried out overal approval tests for new 80ft InnoWaggon Sggns of Innofreight.

Some spectacular pictures from Robert Bucher of Class 25NC locomotives heading through Vailima in 1985 with Sekonyela in the background. This was the last year of steam hauled passenger trains on the Bloemfontein to Bethlehem line. 

Some déjà vu! In 2004 as NGG16 Garratt number 153, on the line to Vailima Halt, watches as a Reefsteamers Rail tour passes hauled by 15F 31016 heading towards Sekonyela and Ficksburg. This section of the narrow gauge line will be part of the new Sekonyela Extension.
