Webster Gonzo as TransNamib’s Interim Chief Executive Officer

TransNamib is pleased to confirm the appointment of the company’s current Executive: Human Capital, Mr. Webster Gonzo as TransNamib’s interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

As previously announced, incumbent CEO, Mr. Johny Smith will be leaving the organisation and his position as CEO as of the 31st of March 2023. The Board of TransNamib wishes to thank Mr Smith for his contribution to TransNamib during the past five years, and on behalf of TransNamib, wish him well in his new endeavours.

Mr. Gonzo has served TransNamib as its Executive: Human Capital for over a decade and brings a wealth of experience to the position. The Board has already commenced with the recruitment process for a substantive CEO and will keep the public abreast on any developments in this regard.
