Transnet’s Private Sector Participation Partnership With Mondi

Transnet Freight Rail confirms its private sector participation (PSP) partnership pilot project with Mondi South Africa. Transnet transports Mondi’s inland-grown timber to Mondi’s Richards Bay mill. 

The pilot project seeks to explore sustainable rail solutions to address current operational challenges. The project is still exploratory by nature and its outcomes and next steps are yet to be determined.
