Tender Deadline for Cable Car Urban Transport Service Management in Tangier Extended

The Municipality of Tangier, assisted and represented by the Urban Development Company for the Conversion of the Port Area of Tangier City (“SAPT”), launched an international call for tenders No. 01/DSP/SAPT/2022, for the delegated management of the public urban collective transport service by cable car in the city of Tangier.

The tender is to select a provider that has the technical, human, and financial skills and capacities to successfully carry out the financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a cable car system and all its components.

This project is part of the Tangier City Port Conversion Project, the realization of which was entrusted to the SAPT by the State in March 2010.

The call for tenders dossier can be obtained from the SAPT’s registry office at No. 50, Avenue Mohammed Tazi, Marchane, Tangier, Morocco or downloaded from the public procurement portal: www.marchespublics.gov.ma, with the exception of technical plans and documents.

The deadline for submission of offers has been extended from Monday, April 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. to Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.

The call for tenders dossier is made available free of charge to candidates from the publication of this notice, except for technical plans and documents, which can be obtained from the SAPT’s office for a fee of 2,000.00 MAD.

Application files must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to: Mr. the CEO of SAPT, 50 Avenue Mohamed Tazi, Marchane, Tangier, Morocco no later than Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
