South Africa: Extension of the Application of the 2024/25 Network Statement and 2024/25 Rail Access Tariffs Until Further Notice

On 28 March 2025, the Department of Transport announced the extension of the 2024/25 Network Statement and Rail Access Tariffs for the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager (TRIM) until further notice. This follows a public consultation process and ongoing review of stakeholder feedback on the 2025/26 proposals. The extension remains in place while the revised 2025/26 tariffs and statement undergo finalisation and approval.
