North Congo-Ntam-Port Of Kribi Railway Line Construction Project

Cameroon signed an MoU in 2021 with Bestway Finance Ltd and Austsino Resources Group Ltd to construct a 540km railway linking the iron ore site at Mbalam to the multimodal ore port at Kribi. The railway will transport iron ore from the Republic of Congo with an annual capacity of over 100 million tons. The project costs $4.7 billion and is expected to take 39 months to complete.
