On 25 September, RITES Ltd confirmed via its listing obligations and disclosure requirements that it has received a letter of award from Talis Logistics in South Africa for the supply and commissioning of overhauled in-service Cape Gauge ALCO diesel-electric locomotives.

Delivery of the locomotives will be completed within six to eight months from receipt of the advance payment.
