Luanda Railway to Resume Bungo–Airport Train Operations Once Safety Measures Completed
Caminho de Ferro de Luanda-EP has announced that regular passenger train services between Bungo Station and the António Agostinho Neto International Airport Railway Terminal will resume once all operational and safety conditions are in place.
The decision prioritises public safety, ensuring secure crossings for both passengers and pedestrians along the route. Ongoing works include the construction of new pedestrian crossings and the rehabilitation of existing ones to prevent accidents and improve traffic flow.
CFL E.P. stated that updates on the service resumption will be communicated through its official channels and station information systems, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant railway operations.
