Grande Côte Opérations Has Entered Into a Partnership With the IFF

The GCO (Grande Côte Opérations) railway company of Senegal has entered into a partnership with the IFF to raise the level of professionalism of these operational actors.

At the end of the initial training of 15 GCO employees (traffic officers, shunting drivers and chief operator) provided last year by the IFF, 2 IFF experts travelled to Meckhe (Senegal) from 16 to 20 January for a mission of assistance and accompaniment in the conduct of the accreditation exams of these operators.

The assignment concerned the preparation, the conduct of the written and oral tests in the training rooms as well as the control of the application of the skills acquired in the field.

After deliberation of the results by the Examination Board, the results were up to the expectations of all parties, confirmed by a 100% success rate of the 15 candidates.
