CRCC Assures Timely Completion of the TAZARA Revitalisation Project

Eng. Sun Liqiang, Vice President of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), the parent company of the TAZARA concessionaire, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), recently visited TAZARA, where he toured the iconic Dar es Salaam Railway Station and experienced a train ride to Yombo Station.

He reaffirmed that the revitalisation of TAZARA remained a priority project for CRCC and expressed confidence that the programme would be delivered within the agreed three-year timeframe.

Eng. Sun further noted that the Survey and Design team was nearing completion of its work, with final designs almost ready to pave the way for full-scale rehabilitation.

He was accompanied by Zhang Junle, Managing Director for CCECC East Africa (also serving as General Manager for CCECC), and was received at TAZARA by CEO Eng. Bruno Chingandu and Regional General Manager (Tanzania) Fuad Abdallah.
