Construction of the San Pédro – Man – Mali railway / Experts from the Ministry of Transport on mission in France

For the construction of the railway line linking San Pédro to the border of Mali via Man, the structure Imaad Capital Partner (ICP) has expressed an interest. It is with a view to evaluating the technical and financial capacities of this structure that the Director of Planning, Statistics, Projects and Prospective (DPSPP) Mr. Georges Bohoussou led, from November 18 to 25, 2022 , a delegation of experts from the Ministry of Transport on a mission to France.

Composed of the Technical Advisor to the Minister in charge of Rail Transport, Mr. KADJO N’guettia, the Director of the economic center of the port of San Pedro, Mr. ZAHABI Patrick, the Technical Director of SIPF, Mrs. KONE Gbaloan and the Deputy Director in charge of Planning and Programming at the DPSPP Mr. TODE Herman, this delegation began its journey by the National Railway Company (SNCF) in Saint Denis in the Paris suburbs. She realized the importance of this company which moves more than 15 million travelers a day. Through its subsidiary KEOLIS, it is the majority operator of the Regional Express Train Operating Company of Dakar (SETER) but also of the Abidjan Metro and the Moroccan TGV.

The delegation of experts then went to the firm DELOITTE, which specializes in financial advice as well as advice on PPP transactions. INGEROP, another firm specializing in carrying out technical studies, welcomed, in the same logic, the envoys of Minister Amadou KONE.

At the end of the mission, all the partners met reassured the delegation of their commitment to support Imaad Capital Partner technically and financially in carrying out the project.
