CFM and AFD Sign Strategic Financing Agreements to Advance Phase II of the Ressano Garcia Line Project
On 18 July 2025, at the Hall of Great Acts of Maputo Central Station, Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM) held the signing ceremony for two Financing Agreements with the French Development Agency (AFD).
These agreements form part of Phase II of the Ressano Garcia Line Duplication Project – a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity and efficiency of the Maputo Corridor, while contributing to regional integration and sustainable economic development.
This partnership reflects CFM, E.P.’s commitment to promoting transformational investments, improving rail connectivity, and responding more effectively to the logistical needs of both the country and the region.
